The RETN network is designed to transmit huge amounts of IP traffic and to lease large capacity channels. The network currently comprises 1 GE, STM-16 and 10 GE channels.

Reference network nodes are located in Moscow, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, Saint Petersburg, London, New York, Stockholm, Helsinki, Washington D.C., Amsterdam and Frankfurt.

Network monitoring and management is performed from a Network Management Center, which is located in Moscow. 24/7 technical support quickly resolves any issues that might occur within the network. Fine-tuned interaction with 24/7 support services of our partners both in the Russian Federation and in other countries allows for quick resolution of any issues wherever these might occur at any time.

Currently, the main services of the RETN network are IP traffic transmission along with connection to main stream nodes using ports with a capacity from 10 Mbit/s to 10 Gbit/s, leasing MPLS VPN L2/L3 channels with bandwidth up to 10 Gbit/s and collocation of equipment in its own data center in Saint Petersburg, and in the data centers in Moscow, London, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and New York, using connection ports with a capacity of up to 1 Gbit/s.

To provide connectivity to other networks, RETN has a presence in the largest IXs of the world: in London (LINX), in Amsterdam (AMS-IX), in New York (NYIIX), in Washington D.C. (Equinix), in Frankfurt (DE-CIX); besides, the RETN has more than 550 peer-to-peer connections.

Transport network is based on leased or obtained fiber optic channels. The latest DWDM equipment manufactured by Infinera company is used as data link equipment.
