This is a fixed route and bandwidth point-to-point service for any organization requiring high capacity, availability, and reliability such as ISPs, Content Providers and many others. Capacity transport services are provided over RETN’s own multi-Terabit fiber-optic network.

Scalable bandwidths, diverse routing and protection options, together with the latest generation equipment ensure that our clients get all the necessary flexibility and security to transport their data between core and remote sites with maximum efficiency.

RETN Capacity is a layer 1 transport service using wavelengths (lambdas).

From one of the world's leading AS numbers, delivered over a geographic all extensive in house controlled DWDM system, well peered and interconnected with premium global IP networks. RETN can provide Internet services worldwide at any desired bandwidth with the highest direct connectivity.

We also offer a range of supplementary DDoS protection methods to enhance service availability: Extended Blackhole, FlowSpec and DDoS Mitigation. All protection methods are described under&nbsp;RETN <a href="/products/ddos-protection" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">DDoS Protection Services.</a>

RETN have implemented and deployed routing policies using RPKI Origin Validation: this means that AS9002 no longer accepts or redistributes BGP route announcements considered “invalid” under Origin Validation process (<a href="https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6811" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">RFC 6811</a>).RPKI Origin Validation is an additional level of security for our BGP Customers and Peering Partners, which highly reduces the impact of BGP route hijacks and BGP misconfigurations.RETN is also a member of <a href="https://www.manrs.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">MANRS</a>, a global community of security-minded organizations committed to making global routing infrastructure more robust and secure.

RETN Internet is a carrier-grade service that provides interconnection between the customer’s IP network, and the global Internet based on the RETN IP network through a single Autonomous System, AS9002. This service is suitable for customers with their own Autonomous System (AS) as&nbsp;IP Transit&nbsp;or is available as&nbsp;DIA (Dedicated Internet Access)&nbsp;for enterprise customers and service providers who don’t have an AS number but need robust high-speed access to the&nbsp;Internet.

LMoIP, L2, L3 VPN

Ethernet backbone services - fast and secure consolidation of customer’s remote LANs and/or devices by means of logically distributed bandwidth between customer’s nodes across the RETN network’s infrastructure.

VPNs are used for connecting remote customer’s sites by means of logically distributed bandwidth between customer’s nodes across our own IP/MPLS backbone based on state-of-the-art Juniper equipment.There are 3 types of VPN services<ul><li>EPL: Ethernet Private Line or simply a point-to-point ethernet Service</li><li>VPLS: multipoint Layer 2 VPN&nbsp;</li><li>IP-VPN: multipoint Layer 3 VPN</li></ul>

RETN Ethernet and VPN services are available at various port speeds starting from 1Mbps to 10Gbps as standard. Customers can also bundle multiple services using a single interface, taking advantage of our <a href="/solutions/one-port" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">One Port solution</a>. Higher bandwidth requirements, i.e. 100G port capacity, are available upon request, please contact us for further information.

RETN Ethernet services are a family of network technologies enabling the deployment of Virtual Private Networks.&nbsp;

RETN introduces a more efficient way to deliver VPN services to remote locations without the need of a last mile transport service: clients are able to use Internet Access as a network overlay to connect to the nearest RETN&nbsp;Gate&nbsp;and access the RETN Network Platform. This solution helps save expenditure on the local loops, reduces service delivery time and provides flexibility to scale in the future. Please speak with your Account Representative for more information. The RETN IP/MPLS network is built over diverse, redundant fiber routes connecting over 870+ Points of Presence Worldwide.

Our unique network topology ensures optimal traffic flow via the shortest path available and the RETN network encompasses extensive low latency terrestrial paths connecting Europe to Asia. All RETN Ethernet &amp; VPN services are configured in the assured-forwarding class by default, allowing us to prioritise the traffic over all other&nbsp;types, depending on bandwidth. In case of a fiber cut or any other issue, traffic is automatically rerouted to the next best available path.

Cloud Connect

The RETN DDoS Protection suite is a robust collection of security services designed to protect your network and infrastructure from various types of DDoS attacks.

Deprioritisation of traffic&nbsp;– A system built in-house to protect the network on the edge and avoid congestions on the RETN backbone, where malicious traffic automatically receives a lower priority and gets discarded first in case of congestion.Remote Triggered Blackhole (RTBH)&nbsp;– allows IP Transit customers to announce hosts tagged with 9002:666 BGP community, either for IPv4 or IPv6. All traffic destined to the /32 or /128 host tagged, will be discarded in ingress of the RETN Network.

OUR DDOS PROTECTION SUITE CONSISTS OF COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES

Extended blackhole (eBH)&nbsp;– more selective protection than standard blackholing, leaving legitimate traffic unaffected. There are two BGP Communities available:&nbsp;9002:667: drop all UDP traffic,&nbsp;9002:668: drop UDP traffic from “known amplifiers” (UDP with source-port 19, 53, 123, 161, 389, 520, 1900, 11211 and fragmented UDP).Flowspec&nbsp;– the BGP flow specification (Flowspec), allows you to rapidly deploy and propagate filtering and policing functionality among a large number of BGP peer routers to mitigate the effects of a DDoS attack over your network. This means that you will be able to define, in a very specific way, which traffic should be discarded on the RETN network before heading towards your interface(s).
